Research Assistant
Research Division
Your role is to conduct experiments assigned by the Senior Scientist. You must possess the relevant scientific knowledge required, strong communication skills to work with your team, and a pro-active mindset for continuous improvement.
Job Scope:
- Protein Engineering: Design and construction of expression vectors
- Protein Analysis: Column chromatography (ion exchange, size exclusion, reverse phase, etc.), SDS-PAGE, and other physicochemical analyses
- Protein Expression: Antibody production using mammalian cell culture systems
- Protein Purification: Operation of purification equipment, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting
- Antibody Generation: B cell cloning and antibody library development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biotechnology, or a related field
- Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory procedures
- Experience in the following areas is advantageous:
- Molecular biology techniques
- Protein chemistry and purification
- Cell culture
- Automated liquid handling systems
- Structural analysis
