How do you encourage creative thinking within your team / organization?

In PA Unit, we encourage everyone to share their thoughts, propose ideas/solutions, troubleshooting. We discuss problems/issues openly and everyone is free to talk about their strategies, thinking, and solutions. New tech and webinar is shared from time to time to equip everyone with relevant skills and knowledge. Literature search is taught and we can get resources & support if needed. Although our main focus is registered project in CPR, new tech/assay development is important for long term grow of PA Unit. I believe developing new assay can improve productivity, expand capability, and increase efficiency of PA Unit to better support CPR’s creativity drug discovery and development activities.

What are some work skills which you consider important and why? (i.e. planning/ organization/ teamwork/ time management.)

I believe that the learnability, agility, teamwork, communication, and planning are the important work skills. Technology has advanced beyond our imagination, new skills and tech emerge at fast speed. It’s important that we adapt our skills and continue growing our knowledge to respond to whatever is coming. Therefore agility is also important. Good planning, good teamwork, and good communication are key to the success of the project.

What’s your favorite memory from working at the company?

I enjoyed the party! All the anniversary party and the Xmas party is so fun and really bring us together. Big thanks to all the rec club members, and the management for the support of the CPR’s party!

If you could pick any superpower, what would it be and why?

I wish I could have the spider man super power, swinging from building to another building with the web-slinging power, ability to solve all the problem.

What do you like most about CPR?

I like the folks in CPR, they are kind and very supportive. This extends beyond work related collaboration. There’s strong bonding among colleagues, everyone feels welcoming in the office. We see friendly gesture to help group buy lunch delivery, joining charity program, and after work sports event. I enjoy nice workplace atmosphere. Together we form a strong and dedicated team for drug discovery.
