Tell us more about your current role at CPR.

I’m currently a Lab Technician in the Automation & Data Management, also known as the AU unit. My role is to purify plasmid samples into proteins and antibodies.

Do you enjoy working in the lab?

Yes, I like working in the lab because I’m a very hands-on person. My time in the lab is also made more enjoyable because of my close-knit team. We are very supportive of each other and can communicate easily. Team members are always willing to lend a helping hand whenever assistance is required.

How do you stay focused and motivated?

What keeps me motivated in the lab is the prospect of learning something new each day and discovering fresh insights during experiments. These continuous learning opportunities enhance my understanding of the work at hand.

What would you like to learn or improve upon in the future?

I would like to deepen my understanding of my current unit’s field of expertise, as well as hone the skills involved in experiments. In terms of self-improvement, I believe that communication skills are very important. Knowing how to convey my ideas and express myself clearly is also something I wish to improve on.

What do you like most about CPR?

I like the friendly and collaborative work culture and environment here at CPR. The roles are well defined and everyone knows their own responsibilities. This makes the workflow very seamless. It is easy to work with each other.
