Roche Children Walk 2019
For this year’s event, we tried out a different approach. Prior to the event, CPR asked Ms Aisha from CCF to share the CCF’s programs and services as well as more information on childhood cancer, which many of our staff found relevant to the good work that we do. By doing so, CPR hoped to raise awareness and meaning of participating at Roche Children’s Walk event. The event was held at the Sports Hub on July 2nd, 2019, and many CPR staff took part. Leading up to this annual event, CPR organised a fund raising activity through the sale of beverages, ice cream and cookies. In total, we managed to raise over $2000 for the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) and the Roche Employee Action and Charity Trust.
